What are the check-in and check-out times?

Our rooms are ready to welcome you from 3:00 p.m. onwards. In case of early arrival, if it is not possible to deliver your room key immediately, we will make every effort to minimize your wait. On check-out, unless otherwise agreed, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 a.m.

How can I make a reservation for the restaurant?

Charging at the time of booking

Your credit card details are required as a reservation guarantee. We make a virtual authorization for the amount of the room or table, which will be returned to you in full within the terms stated in the conditions of purchase.

Cancellation policy

You may cancel a reservation without penalty as long as you comply with the terms of our cancellation policy. If your reservation was made directly from our website, you may contact us directly. For reservations through other online portals, please contact them directly to make any changes.

Do you have a gym and swimming pool?

We do not have a gym at the hotel, but we do offer a Wellness Suite with a selection of massages and treatments designed for your complete wellness. We do not have a swimming pool at our facility, but upon request it is possible to make a reservation for the beach club at our sister hotel Laqua by the Lake, which is only 2 km away with shuttle service.

Is Villa Crespi open all year-round?

Our Relais and Restaurant are closed for winter break from 8th January to 31st January 2024 (inclusive), and for summer break from 12th August to 22nd August 2024 (inclusive).

What is the nearest airport to you?

The nearest airport is Milan Malpensa, just a 45-minute drive from Lake Orta. We offer private transfer services to and from Milan and Bergamo airports or any other destination.

What is the nearest railway station to you?

The Orta-Miasino railway station is only 800 metres from Villa Crespi, and we offer a free shuttle service. Alternatively, we can recommend the Arona stop on Lake Maggiore and arrange a shuttle service that will take you to Villa Crespi in just 20 minutes.

What are the restaurant closing days?

The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Is there a dress code to follow for lunch/dinner at the restaurant?

We ask for smart casual attire. For gentlemen, trousers, long-sleeved shirt / sweater and closed-toe shoes are required.

What should be done in case of allergies or intolerances?

We kindly ask our guests to report any allergies or intolerances at the time of booking or as soon as possible. If, after consultation with our kitchen staff, we are unable to accommodate specific requests, we will endeavor to contact you promptly.

What are the restaurant hours?

Lunch is available from 12: 30 p.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

What about if we have any special dietary needs (Vegetarian, Gluten Free)?

Villa Crespi is pleased to offer a tailor-made gastronomic experience to suit your needs. In addition to the culinary experience proposed by Chef Cannavacciuolo, we have a tasting menu specifically designed for vegetarians. For those on a gluten-free diet, gluten-free versions of our two tasting menus and the à la carte menu are available. It is important to note that although we offer gluten-free options, we do not have a separate environment for celiacs. We are committed to ensuring that each dish reflects Villa Crespi’s culinary excellence while respecting your dietary preferences.

How many floors does the building have? Is there a lift?

The building has three floors and has a lift to provide convenient accessibility.

Do the rooms have a small private terrace?

Only the Classic rooms on the third floor have a small private terrace with a partial view of the lake.

Are smoking rooms available?

There are currently no smoking rooms available. To ensure a pleasant and respectful environment for all of our guests, we kindly ask you not to smoke in the rooms. However, we have specially designated outdoor and well-kept spaces for those who wish to enjoy a cigarette break without giving up the comfort of our hotel. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Are connecting rooms available?

We do not have connecting rooms. However, during the booking process, you can specify a preference for adjoining rooms, which are ideal for meeting the needs of families. Alternatively, our spacious Master Suites can accommodate up to two extra beds for a comfortable and flexible experience.

Is there private parking available?

Yes, we offer uncovered private parking reserved exclusively for hotel and restaurant guests. It is accessible through the main gate. Our reception team will be on hand to assist you during parking and will take care of your car, placing it in the most suitable and convenient location.

Can we be sure to dine at the starred restaurant during our stay at Villa Crespi?

Certainly. Your stay reservation always includes privileged access to a table in our Michelin 3-star Restaurant, to ensure you enjoy an all-round immersive experience of hospitality and taste.

Is Chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo present in Villa Crespi?

Our Chef is usually present at the facility. However, his presence may vary due to commitments that we cannot predict in advance. Despite this, he usually makes every effort to meet his guests at the end of the dining experience.

How can we purchase a gift voucher?

You can purchase a gift voucher by visiting our Online Shop, where you will find the GIFT CARD section with a variety of experiences, including stays, tastings and wellness moments. Our Gift Cards are valid on an open date and conditions of use and payment methods are indicated on the product sheets.

If I have a gift voucher, how can I book my experience?

To book your experience through a gift voucher, please send an e-mail to the address on the voucher, including the reference code and a contact telephone number. We will check availability together. Please note that the expiry date by which the gift voucher must be used is the one stated on the voucher itself.

Is a weekend stay always subject to a minimum stay of two nights?

The minimum stay required during the weekend is two nights; however, new single-night availabilities may be opened. To check, please consult online booking on the date of interest.

How does the restaurant waiting list work? How do I get informed of any new availability?

In the event of new availability on the date for which you have registered on the waiting list, our reservation department will contact you by phone or email to the address you provided when making your reservation.

Can I dine at the restaurant without staying overnight?

For dinner service, most of our tables in the restaurant are reserved for guests staying at the hotel. Tables for 4 and 6 guests are available and can be reserved without an overnight stay. We may open some availability for different numbers of diners as well, so we recommend that you check online booking and put your name on the waiting list to be notified in a timely manner.
